take a look at the latest from the music scene.
Are you addicted to Guitar Hero like I am? You’ve been playing
so much you see those red, green, and blue notes in your
sleep? Well prepare yourself because this news will help you
feed your need! For those of you that missed the boat, Guitar
Hero is video game phenomenom where user play along with
classic and new rock songs with a guitar shaped controller.
There are great bands on the game from legends like Metallica,
to Rage Against the machine, and now, you’ll be able to play
Aerosmith’s entire catalog! Activision announced last week
that this June they will unveil the latest game in the GUitar
Hero series, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. A game exclusively
dedicated to the iconic band that has sold over 100 million
albums worldwide. Players will begin a lead guitarist Joe
Perry and will be able to unlock other members, of course
Steven Tyler is on lead vocals. There are some great gigs and
special guests artists on the game, (I’m keeping my fingers
crossed for RUN DMC!) and before the release, you’ll be able
to download their first single “Dream On” for free from the
XBox live store or on your PS3.

Lil Jon and the Ying Yang twins is planning to file for
bankruptcy. The company will continue to operate but will have
major staff cutbacks as well as releasing some artists from
their contracts to become free agents. The financial woes stem
from ligitation with Def Jam Records and Slip-N-Slide over
projects by Pitbull and Ja Rule, that drained the label of
millions of dollars.
Concert news: The beautiful and talented Miss Alicia Keys is
going on tour! you all knew it was coming! And she’s not going
alone of course, a new powerhouse vocalist is joining her, the
most recent American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks! Did y’all
catch her performance at the super bowl? amazing! The tour
will support keys new albulm “As I am” and Spark’s new ablum
as well as her latest single “No Air” featuring Chris Brown.
The two ladies hit the road on April 19th in Virigina.
